Remember to provide your email address / contact information as well as a few short facts on your musical course of life. Interesting information for applicants can be found on the website of the Hamburg College of Music and Theatre.
As Matthias Höfs is fully stretched by his professorship and extensive concert engagements there is almost no free capacity for lessons besides the regular college lectures. It is possible, however, to work with him during his regular master classes/workshops and summer courses. For information on the next courses see section "News".

I can't open the ZIP archive / read the PDF documents

The pictures are compressed in the ZIP format. They need to be extracted before they can be viewed. This format can be used by a variety of archiving applications. If you are using Windows, you will find an appropriate application atwww.winzip.de

In order to view the PDF documents, you will need the Adobe Acrobat Reader which can be found at www.adobe.com.

I can't play the sound samples

The music samples are stored in the MP3 format. Not every browser is able to play this format. Please try to save the files to your hard disk. If you are using a Windows browser, right clicking on the small picture will open a context menu. Select the menu item "Save as..." and specify the target on your hard disk. There you will find the music file which can now be played using your normal music player without the need for an internet connection.

My browser won't display the pictures / The pictures overlap each other / Other display problems

The website was developed for a resolution of 800 x 600 pixels and tested using the most common browsers. First check if you are using the latest software version or if you might be able to select a higher resolution. If this does not solve your problem please send us a message via the contact form in which you describe the error in detail and specify the browser and operating system you are using. We will try to solve the problem for you.
